Warriors Acquire McEnery, Reller in Trades

OKLAHOMA CITY–The Oklahoma Warriors have made trades with the Janesville Jets and Bismarck Bobcats involving a total of three players.

Forward Geno McEnery joins Oklahoma from the Jets. The 20-year-old, an alternate captain for the Jets, scored 16 assists in 33 games. The Geneva, Ill. native is committed to Providence College.

Forward Brandon Reller comes to the Warriors after spending two-and-a-half seasons in Bismarck. Reller enjoyed a breakout season in 2022-23 with 32 points in 47 games and a +18 rating. The Hanover, Minn. native began his junior hockey career with the WHL’s Spokane Chiefs.

As part of the moves, the Warriors traded veteran defenseman Therien Thiesing to Janesville. Thiesing, who won the 2023 Robertson Cup as a Warrior, has played 148 career games over four seasons. Thiesing started his career with the Austin Bruins then defeated his former team in the Robertson Cup championship game.
