Game Operations and Merchandise Internship
Description:
The Game Operations and Merchandise internship provides an opportunity for the intern to not only receive experience in game operations of Warriors games but also to gain valuable sales and customer service experience. Game Operations and Merchandise interns report to the director of game day operations and team president.
Internship Responsibilities:
- Working with game ops team to create & execute marketing plans including community nights, fundraisers, promotional nights, etc.
- Assist hosts with corporate nights
- Creating an inventory of rotating games/activities to be played on-ice during intermissions
- Coordinate intermission games, including selecting contestants.
- Assist with the in-arena merchandise store, helping fans get decked out in orange and black
Internship Requirements:
- Be eligible to receive high school, undergraduate or grad school credit for your work
- Housing and transportation in Oklahoma City or surrounding area
- Working nights and weekends during games, with occasional availability during the week
- Motivated self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong people skills
Media and Production Internship
Description:
The Media and Production internship provides hands-on experience with the inner workings of the NAHL’s premier media effort. Media and Production interns will participate in the team’s video production, social media and in-game production. Media and Production interns will also have the opportunity to participate in the Warriors’ game broadcasts, as well as the in-game video. Media interns report to the director of broadcasting and media relations and team president.
Responsibilities:
- Shooting video for production on non-game days for videos on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
- Creating content during games on real-time social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram stories, etc)
- Assist in video inventory management for in-house video board for home games
- Participate in the Warriors’ game broadcast production
- Other duties as assigned
Internship Requirements:
- Be eligible to receive high school, undergraduate or grad school credit for your work
- Housing and transportation in Oklahoma City or surrounding area
- Working nights and weekends during games, with occasional availability during the week
- Motivated self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with camera equipment and video production a plus
- Strong people skills
