Nov 25, 2023

OKLAHOMA CITY–The Oklahoma Warriors are partnering with Roosevelt Academy for a special weekend at Blazers Ice Centre.

The Warriors will host New Mexico on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2. The team will wear special jerseys, which will be announced on Thursday, and they will be auctioned off after Saturday night’s game. Roosevelt Academy will hold 50/50 raffles as well. Proceeds from the weekend will go to Roosevelt Academy, a school in Moore for children with learning differences.

Saturday will also be Teddy Bear Toss night. Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears and other stuffed animals to the game, then throw them onto the ice for donation after the Warriors score their first goal.

The school is set to open on Monday, December 4 at 1120 Eastern Ave. Suite 108 in Moore, and is currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year.
