OKLAHOMA CITY–The Oklahoma Warriors, proud member of the North American Hockey League, are joining the fight against childhood cancer.
The Warriors are holding a fundraiser for the Toby Keith Foundation on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 at Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City.
The team will wear special one-of-a-kind themed jerseys during both Friday and Saturday’s games. They will be auctioned off to fans immediately following Saturday’s game. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral, which will also hold 50/50 raffles and silent auctions during the weekend. More information on the foundation is available at www.tobykeithfoundation.org.
The OK Kids Korral, located at 818 NE 8th St. in Oklahoma City, has served as a cost-free home away from home for children fighting pediatric cancer since 2014. They have provided care for hundreds of families from all over Oklahoma and the world. There will be families in attendance at both games to meet the Warriors team and drop the ceremonial pucks.
Puck drop is at 7:15 p.m. from Blazers Ice Centre, located at 8000 S I-35 Service Rd. in Oklahoma City. Doors open at 6 p.m. Fans can pre-purchase tickets for quick entry at www.oklahomawarriors.com/tickets.
