Warriors Trade Chalmers to New Hampshire

Nov 7, 2023

OKLAHOMA CITY–The Oklahoma Warriors have traded defenseman Conner Chalmers to the New Hampshire Mountain Kings in exchange for a 2023-24 tender slot.

Chalmers, a 20-year-old from Windham, N.H., played 14 games with the Warriors to start the season and recorded one assist.

The Mountain Kings, one of three expansion teams for the 2023-24 season, are located in Hooksett, N.H., roughly 25 miles from Chalmers’ hometown.

A tender agreement is a contract, signed between organization and player, which gives a team the rights to that player for the upcoming season. Each team is allotted a finite number of tender slots, and they can be traded between teams. If an Oklahoma-tendered player elects to join the North American Hockey League, he would report to the Warriors.

The Oklahoma Warriors are home against the Corpus Christi on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18. The team will wear specialty jerseys to benefit The Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral. Puck drops at 7:15 p.m. at Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City.
