Sutton, Horsager, Duris Earn Player of the Month Mentions

OKLAHOMA CITY – Drew Sutton, Garrett Horsager and Daniel Duris each earned honorable mentions for Player of the Month status for their play in December 2022.

Up front, Sutton contributed eight points (4G+4A) in the team’s 7 games and had a +6 rating. The Hortonville, Wisconsin native jumped to second in team points and scored his first junior hat trick in Oklahoma’s 7-4 loss at New Mexico December 9. Sutton is in his first season with the Warriors and is just under a point-per-game pace with 26 (10G+16A) in 27 games played.

Horsager continued his remarkable season on the blue line and was a +2 with one assist in five games played through December. This is the second time Horsager has been given honorable mention for Defenceman of the Month, the first time having been in October 2022. The Rosemount, Minnesota native is third in the NAHL in plus-minus with a +20 rating through 24 games.

Between the pipes, Duris made a season-high six straight starts and had a 3-3 record, which included his 12th win of the season. This is the second time Duris has been given honorable mention for Goaltender of the Month status as he had the nod for his play in October 2022 as well. The Martin, Slovakia product is tied for fourth overall in wins and is 12-3 this season with 2 shutouts.
