Ryan Robinson’s Debut, Drew Vieten’s First Collegiate Goal Highlight November 2022 Alumni Update

Fifteen Warriors alums have moved on to play college hockey over the past two years after finding success in the North American Hockey League. The Oklahoma Warriors will provide updates on these players and their hockey journeys periodically during the 2022-23 season.

 

Ryan Robinson (2020-2022); Arizona State University Sun Devils

Robinson will debut for the Sun Devils Saturday at 6 p.m. CST with Arizona State visiting Clarkston in Potsdam, New York. The Plano, Texas, native played in 84 regular season games with the Wichita Falls Warriors and recorded 66 (28G+38A) points.

Drew Vieten (2020-2022); Niagara University Purple Eagles

Vieten scored his first goal of the season Friday against the USA National Development team, helping his squad to an 8-5 win. Vieten rifled home a wrist shot late in the first period to give the Eagles a 3-1 lead at that point in the game. Over two seasons with the Warriors, the Calabasas, California, native put up 73 (33G+40A) points in 96 games. Niagara’s scheduled meeting with St. Laurence Saturday has been postponed.

Owen Bartoszkiewicz (2020-21); University of Minnesota Golden Gophers

Bartoszkiewicz starts the 2022-23 season with a 3-0 record and backstopped the Gophers to an end-of-week sweep over the Michigan Wolverines. Bartoszkiewicz made 35 saves Friday and 29 Thursday. During the 2022-23 season with the Warriors he earned a 23-14-4 record with 6 shutouts.

Dean Bauchiero (2021-22); Brown University Bears

Bauchiero appeared in 22 regular season games for the Warriors during 2021-22, scoring 12 (6G+6A) points.

Adisen Brueck (2020-2022); Lindenwood University Lions

Brueck played in 90 regular season games for the Warriors and recorded 48 (21G+27A) points across two seasons in Wichita Falls. He added four assists in 11 postseason games with the club. The Lions take the ice against the University of Wisconsin Saturday night.

Vinnie Corcoran (2020-2022); Bemidji State University Beavers

Corcoran has played in five games for the Beavers in the 2022-23 season. The team’s next matchup is scheduled for Friday, November 25, against North Dakota. Corcoran served as the Warriors captain during the 2021-22 season, and an alternate prior to that. He contributed 83 (12G+71A) points in 112 regular season games across his Warriors career.

Joseph Harguindeguy (2020-2022); Concordia College Cobbers

Harguindeguy has 5 (3G+2A) points in six games played for the Cobbers in 2022-23. Concodria’s next game is Tuesday against the Hamline Pipers. Across parts of two seasons with the Warriors, the La Habra, California, native appeared in 99 games and scored 65 (23G+42A) points.

Dawson Klein (2020-21); University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds

Klein played in 11 games with the Warriors during the 2020-21 season and scored one goal and four assists. With the Blugolds this season, Klein has scored one goal and added two assists in five games played. His squad faces off against the University of Wisconsin-River Falls at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Carter Korpi (2020-2022); Union College Dutchmen

Korpi ha already put up five goals and eight points in 14 games for the Dutchmen this season. The older brother of current Warriors goaltender Cameron, Korpi contributed 60 (24G+36A) points in 67 regular season games with the club. He added five goals and one assist in 11 postseason games as well. Union College will return to action December 3 against Northeastern.

Nick Lanigan (2020-21); College of St. Scholastica Saints

Lanigan scored 11 goals and had 11 assists in 56 games for the Warriors in the 2020-21 season. The Duluth, Minnesota, product has already matched his point totals from last season in 16 fewer games played, recording two assists in six games to begin 2022-23.

Cade Lemmer (2020-22); University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds

Lemmer had a +2 rating in his debut with the Blugolds in a 3-0 win over Gustavus Adolphus November 5, 2022. With the Warriors, he appeared in 73 regular season games across two seasons and recorded 49 (30G+19A) points.

Brandon Milberg (2021-22); Sacred Heart University Pioneers

Milberg manned the crease in 28 games for the Warriors in the 2021-22 season and earned a 20-5-1-1 record with six shutouts. Sacred Heart’s next game is set for Tuesday, November 22 at Cornell.

Phil Tornqvist (2021-22); University of Vermont VCats

Tornqvist has played in 11 games for the VCats so far during the 2022-23 season and recorded his first NCAA point with an assist October 22 against Holy Cross. During his tenure with the Warriors, the native of Gothenburg, Sweden, scored 20 (12G+8A) points in 20 regular season games. Vermont plays Providence Saturday at 6 p.m. CST.

Drake Usher (2020-21); Air Force Academy Falcons

Usher has played in two games for the Falcons this season, and recorded one goal and two assists in 22 games last year. In 47 games with Wichita Falls, he scored eight goals and 15 assists. Air Force will play American International College at 6:05 CST Sunday.

Jackson Wozniak (2020-21); Lindenwood University Lions

Wozniak has laced up in seven games for the Lions this season and has one assist so far. Serving as the first captain in franchise history, Wozniak notched 19 (7G+12A) points for the Warriors in 51 games during the 2020-21 season.
